Mike Bobo has accepted an offer to become the next head coach for the Colorado State Rams. According to Sports Illustrated, his deal is for five years at $1.5 million per year. Mike Bobo has spent basically his entire adult life in Athens, minus a one year stint at Jacksonville State in Alabama. Bobo’s offenses have broken numerous records at UGA and in 2014 this team will break the scoring record set in 2012 with Aaron Murray. Georgia fans have always had mixed opinions on Mike Bobo as their offensive play caller, and this year’s loss to South Carolina set some fans over the edge. The news of Bobo’s departure was met with mixed reactions from wishing him well to glad he’s gone.
