By Joe Vitale:
Georgia cornerback recruit Latavious Brini (Hialeah, FL Mater Academy) committed to the Dawgs three weeks ago and is still being heavily recruited by a host of schools.
The 6’2″, 200 pound, four star athlete recently spent some time in Gainesville and has a close relationship with Gators’ linebacker coach Randy Shannon.
Brini told GatorCountry he is about “90 percent committed to Georgia,” and “Miami and Florida and maybe Southern Cal,” are still in the mix. “Close to home, having family come to watch you play and cheer for you. That’s a blessing”, he mentioned while in Gainesville.
Brini will not take any other visits this summer but plans to take all five of his official visits this fall.
When questioned what attracted Brini to Georgia, he offered “the coaches Kirby Smart, Mel Tucker, guys from the NFL and behind Saban… I couldn’t pass on that.”
Quite true….hard to pass on what Kirby Smart is building in Athens.
