By Joe Vitale:
Four-star wide receiver Marquez Ezzard, a highly sought after Georgia recruit, has moved up his commitment date.
The Stockbridge High athlete tweeted from the Nike Opening Camp that he’ll be making his college decision July 8. Ezzard has visited Georgia and Auburn on multiple occasions, but his choice is coming down to the Dawgs and Florida State. The experts are predicting Athens will be his place of residence when he enrolls this January.
The 6′ 1″, 212-pound receiver is the nation’s No. 12 athlete and 28th-ranked player in the state. He recorded 50 receptions for 1,015 yards and 12 touchdowns for the 13-1 Tigers in 2016, on a predominantly run-oriented offense.
He had a breakout game in the playoffs against eventual state champion Rome, when he had nine receptions for 212 yards and three touchdowns (including a 70-yarder) in the state semifinal game.
I will be committing soon stayed tuned!!
