Four-star running back James Cook, the younger brother of former Florida State star Dalvin Cook, may be wavering on his commitment to the Seminoles….and Georgia could be the beneficiary

Cook, a senior at Miami Central, has been committed to FSU since March 2016. He’s the nation’s No. 3-rated running back prospect and 6th-rated player in the state of Florida.

He has recently taken visits to Georgia and appears excited about the idea of playing Between the Hedges.

“UGA, UGA, UGA, and that is about it,” Cook told 247Sports.com when asked about what visits he has taken this year. Cook visited Athens in April and returned with his mother June 13. “She loved it,” Cook said.

“RBU,” Cook said about Georgia. “Dell McGee is a wonderful coach, a great person who will teach you about life on and off the field.”

Cook added that Auburn, LSU and USC are also recruiting him hard at this moment, but it appears Georgia and Florida State are the front runners.

Cook expects to make a decision in December.
