By Garret Shearman:
3-star OT Solomon Kindley (Jacksonville, FL/Raines HS) has faxed in his letter of intent and is officially a Dawg. Kindley is a 6-foot-5, 345-pound right tackle who has a propensity to get far downfield and block smaller, seemingly quicker defenders, leaving the sidelines clear for a long tailback scamper. At his stature, his speed and motor make him a very valuable at both a run blocker downfield and as legitimate pass protector.
Oh, he also averages five point and five rebounds on Raines’ basketball team. And he’s nicknamed “The Moving Train.” Welcome to Dawg Nation, Moving Train.
Rated a three-star prospect by 247 Sports, Kindley was once thought to be a Florida lean, but with National Signing Day only ten days away, it appears as if the hefty right tackle plans to join left tackle Ben Cleveland in Athens as the bookends of what Smart, Pittman, and the entire Bulldog Nation hope to be a huge re-tooled offensive line in 2016.
